I came to the river to be true to myself, only to discover a multitude of selves hidden within. There are more layers underneath. Always more. Life appears to be a constant re-evaluation of who and what I am, a constant inward searching. To tell you the truth, I am a little sick and tired of breaking through only to find there is more underneath. Perhaps one day I will come to find my peace around this and stop going around and down in ever smaller circles.
